Privacy Policy
Updated November 2026
What you send us through the form on our contact page, by phone or by e-mail is used to answer you and do the job.
Cookies for advertising or analytics aren’t part of this website.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and opt out of any sale or sharing.
The scope of this page
This policy is about the information that reaches us through the site, by phone and by e-mail, and about what happens to it afterwards.
What we collect
The form on our contact page asks you for a name, a phone number, an e-mail address and a short note on the work, plus the address or ZIP code of the job if it has fields for them. Calls and e-mails give us whatever you choose to say or attach. The company hosting the site also logs a few technical details for each page request: the IP address, browser, page and time. This is done for security and so as to keep the site online.
The chat on this site
About the chat: it’s recorded, and an automated assistant may answer it. Each chat keeps your messages, along with the name, phone and e-mail you leave and what you say about the job, plus the page you opened it from, the referring website, your approximate location according to your internet address, the browser and device you chat from, and a random code in your browser that tells your chats on this site apart. Service providers run the chat and process the messages to create its answers. The information is for replying to you, scheduling the job and improving the chat.
What we use it for
Here’s what the information is for. First, answering you and arranging the work. Second, carrying the work out and following up afterwards. Third, keeping proper business records, protecting the site and meeting legal requirements.
Who else sees it
Your information passes through the providers that keep the site, our e-mail and our request system working. If a service partner helps us answer you or complete the job, that partner receives the details the job needs. Beyond that, information may be handed over where the law demands it, or to keep people safe and protect their rights.
Cookies and visit counts
Cookies and statistics, briefly:
- no cookies for advertising or for analytics;
- possibly one strictly necessary security cookie from the hosting provider;
- visit counts kept by the host without cookies, as anonymous page-view totals.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected and to have it deleted. Reach us at manager@musserparkplumbing.com or (717) 928-8698 to make a request. Before acting, we may need to check that you’re the person asking, and using any of these rights won’t affect how we deal with you.
Do not sell or share my personal information
Your opt-out right
California law, and the law of a number of other states, lets residents say no, by opting out, to the sale or sharing of their personal information. Every state applies its own definitions of those two words.
How to ask
Send requests to manager@musserparkplumbing.com or make them by phone at (717) 928-8698. One sentence will do, for example: “Please opt me out of the sale or sharing of my personal information,” followed by your name and the number or e-mail address on file with us, which is how we find your records. No fee applies and you need no account with us.
Our reply
When your message reaches us, we confirm receipt and carry out the request before the legal deadline. The only details we ask for are the ones needed to locate your records.
Authorized agents
If you would like another person to handle this, they can act as your authorized agent. We may ask to see the authorization you signed for them.
Browser privacy signals
Global Privacy Control also works: where the law requires it, any browser sending the signal is treated as having asked to opt out.
No change for you
There’s no penalty for opting out. You pay the same and are served the same as everyone else.
When information is deleted
How long we keep something depends on why we have it. Details linked to a request or a job are kept while they’re still needed for it, and for as long as our records and the law require. Then they are deleted.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable precautions to keep information from being lost, misused or seen by the wrong people. Any system can fail, however, and no one can guarantee perfect security.
Children under 13
This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
